About Division 10 - Infrastructure, Energy and the Environment

Division 10 is one of the 14 divisions of the ABA Forum on Construction Law, which are designed to put Forum members in touch with fellow practitioners of specific areas of construction law.

The mission of Division 10, whose formal name is “Infrastructure, Energy and the Environment,” is to provide education, resources and a forum to discuss infrastructure, energy and environmental aspects of construction projects and related solutions and strategies.

Our members work on a variety of construction projects, including but not limited to (1) bridges, tunnels, roads, airports, railway, ports, waterways and other heavy civil, (2) water treatment plants, water supply, desalination plants and consolidated sewer systems, (3) telecommunications, data centers and smart cities, (4) sustainable construction, (5) electric vehicle infrastructure, (6) energy transmission and distribution (power grid), (7) conventional energy (oil and gas) (8) renewable energy (wind, solar, low carbon technologies, biomass, hydrogen, hydroelectric, battery storage), (9) nuclear energy, and (10) utility interference.
